Sri Lanka has successfully sold bonds totaling 87.020 billion rupees, according to data from the public debt management office. This issuance includes bonds maturing in 2030, 2034, and 2036.
Specifically, 17.14 billion rupees out of an offered 30 billion rupees for the 01 March 2030 (LKB00530C017) bonds were sold at an average yield of 9.50 percent. Additionally, 29.87 billion rupees out of an offered 60 billion rupees for the 15 June 2034 (LKB00934F154) bonds were sold at an average yield of 10.75 percent.
Furthermore, all 40 billion rupees of the offered 15 August 2036 (LKB01136H151) bonds were successfully sold at an average yield of 10.85 percent. Notably, the 15 August 2036 bond remains available on tap.
