Sri Lanka Successfully Sells Additional Rs4bn in Treasury Bonds Post-Auction

FINANCIAL CHRONICLE – Sri Lanka has sold 4,000 million rupees of bonds offered on tap at an average rate set at an auction this week, bringing the total of bonds sold in the week to 91.02 billion, data from the Ministry of Finance – Public Debt Management Office showed.

The debt office sold a 15 August 2036 maturity bond (LKB01136H151) at a weighted average yield rate of 10.80 percent.

Total market subscription was 7,000 million rupees.

On Thursday, 130 billion rupees in 2030, 2034, and 2036 bonds were sold.
