FINANCIAL CHRONICLE – Sri Lanka’s Colombo Stock Exchange opened up on Tuesday, after dropping 3.47 percent the previous day.
The All Share Price Index was trading up 0.50 percent, or 105.68 points at 21,044.94, 15 minutes after the opening bell, while the S&P SL20 was trading up 0.29 percent, or 17.22 points, at 5,902.15.
The ASPI dropped below the psychological 21,000 mark on Monday.
Turnover was 421 million rupees.
The top positive contributors to the ASPI were Melstacorp (up 4 rupees at 167.75), Sampath Bank (up 1.50 rupees at 152.25), and Colombo Dockyard (up 4 rupees at 123.50). (Colombo/Mar17/2026)
