FINANCIAL CHRONICLE – Sri Lanka’s Cabinet has approved a proposal to award a 984.73 million rupee (excluding tax) contract to RR Construction (Pvt) Ltd to improve the Kurikadduwan Jetty in Jaffna, minister Nalinda Jayatissa said.
Five bids were received, he said, and after evaluating them, the project was awarded to the lowest responsive bidder.
The jetty, in the island’s northern district, has boat services to Nainativu and Delft islands. (Colombo/Mar24/2026)
