Sampath Bank PLC has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hayleys Mobility Limited, the mobility division of Hayleys Fentons Limited, at the bank’s head office. This partnership marks a significant advancement in improving access to advanced sustainable mobility solutions in Sri Lanka.

Hayleys Mobility, focusing on sustainability and accessibility, has introduced a New Energy Vehicle line-up featuring globally recognized brands such as OMODA&JAECOO, a premium brand in the passenger vehicle category, and SRM, a highly sought-after commercial electric truck brand in Singapore. The new offerings, including the JAECOO J8, JAECOO J7 PHEV, JAECOO J6, and OMODA E5, provide customers with options ranging from fully electric to plug-in hybrid SUVs, catering to various lifestyles and driving preferences.

Under this agreement, Sampath Bank aims to enhance the ownership experience for customers by providing a range of financial benefits to make vehicle purchases more accessible. Eligible customers can enjoy a reduction of 0.5% per annum from the published interest rate when obtaining a vehicle lease, subject to applicable rules, regulations, and restrictions of Sampath Bank. Additionally, the bank will offer loans to cover vehicle insurance premiums, with no interest charged if the insurance loan is settled within two months. Customers introduced by Hayleys Mobility may also acquire Sampath Bank credit cards without a joining fee, and insurance payments made through these cards will qualify for a 0% interest plan over twelve months.

Complementing these financial solutions, Hayleys Mobility offers full manufacturer warranties, certified after-sales support, genuine parts, and 24/7 roadside assistance through its official hotline, 0112 222 222. Reinforcing its commitment to dependable sustainable mobility, the company is expanding access to reliable EV charging through a partnership with StarCharge, a global leader in electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure and microgrid solutions.

This collaboration combines Sampath Bank’s financial expertise with Hayleys Fentons’ 106-year engineering legacy in delivering the latest technologies to Sri Lanka. It presents customers with an attractive proposition for innovative, future-ready mobility supported by practical financial solutions.
