Sweet dreams above the clouds

Beginning in December, Emirates is enhancing the sleep experience for First Class customers with new loungewear, luxurious bed linens, and a refined turndown service. To further facilitate relaxation, passengers can enjoy premium beverages in newly introduced cut crystal glassware, experience tranquility with the latest noise-cancelling headphones from Bowers & Wilkins, and indulge in the Emirates A380 Shower Spa, now featuring a new range of VOYA products.

On select long-haul flights this month, Emirates will offer First Class passengers new loungewear, slippers, and eye masks designed for comfort and sophistication. Made from super-soft modal, the collection combines a luxurious feel with breathability and lightweight ease. The fabric, sourced from sustainably grown beech trees, features fully traceable botanical fibers that regulate temperature, ideal for a restful sleep. The two-piece set includes a relaxed top and bottom, suitable for enjoying drinks at the A380 Onboard Lounge or for a peaceful sleep in the fully enclosed First Class suites.

The women’s loungewear set comes in soft blush pink and light grey, while the men’s design features a sophisticated two-tone grey palette. Matching slippers, with a plush inner sole, and eye masks, lined with ultra-soft silk-like fabric, complete the ensemble, ensuring uninterrupted rest.

Starting in 2026, Emirates will introduce premium 300-thread-count cotton bed linens, including pillows, duvet covers, and mattress covers. These soft and impeccably finished linens complement the private First Class suites, where each suite features a spacious seat that reclines into a lie-flat bed, complete with an automatic door for privacy.

Emirates’ First Class turndown service offers the elegance of a five-star hotel suite. The ritual includes a beautifully prepared bed with a duvet, a bespoke wellness card encouraging relaxation and sweet dreams, and BYREDO Chamomile Pillow Mist delicately placed on the duvet fold. A luxury chocolate, from brands like Valrhona, Canonica, Coco Jalila, and Neuhaus, completes the experience.

The Emirates A380 Shower Spa has been refreshed with newly designed display units that complement the color palettes of retrofitted aircraft. Featuring a refined, speckled stone aesthetic, each hand-finished piece is unique. Emirates continues its partnership with luxury Irish skincare brand VOYA, introducing two new fragrance collections: Tranquillity, with calming lavender and eucalyptus, and Revitalise, with uplifting honeysuckle and neroli. The collections include shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body moisturizer, and face wash, with additional coconut and jasmine soap, pump hand wash, and hand cream options available. Individual hand creams are also provided in the First and Business Class washrooms.

New crystal-cut glassware has been introduced to complement Emirates’ existing First Class dining collection. This elegant glassware is used to serve select spirits, premium cocktails, mocktails, and iced coffees, including the newly introduced iced café latte and iced Americano.

In early 2026, Emirates will introduce the latest generation of Bowers & Wilkins First Class headphones, the E2, custom-tuned exclusively for Emirates’ First Class suites. Designed for exceptional clarity, comfort, and immersion, the E2 model offers enhanced active noise cancellation and a more natural sonic profile for long-haul listening. The headphones provide improved noise reduction and sound performance, along with better isolation. Ergonomically optimized for extended wear, they seamlessly integrate with Emirates’ award-winning ice inflight entertainment system. Passengers can explore a curated Bowers & Wilkins playlist onboard, selected by the brand’s sound engineers to showcase the headphones’ exceptional audio performance. For moments requiring communication with cabin crew, a voice transparency mode can be activated with the push of a button, allowing ambient sound to pass through before returning the listener to complete serenity.
