The Presidential Task Force for Rebuilding Sri Lanka has several key objectives:

• Restoration of Basic Services and Healthcare: Focus on restoring essential services and healthcare in areas affected by Cyclone Ditwah.

• Rehabilitation of Critical Infrastructure: Repair and rebuild critical infrastructure damaged by the cyclone.

• Revival of Livelihoods and Local Economies: Support the recovery of local economies and livelihoods.

• Establishment of Digital Data and Decision-Support Systems: Implement digital systems to support decision- making and recovery efforts.

• Strengthening Public Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Enhance communication and engagement with stakeholders and the public.

The Task Force will provide strategic leadership, inter- ministerial coordination, and oversight of recovery initiatives under the Government’s ‘Rebuilding Sri Lanka’ program
