Singapore Airlines is set to enhance connectivity between Sri Lanka and its global network with the introduction of three daytime flights between Colombo and Singapore, starting on January 6, 2026.

The new flights will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, complementing the existing schedule and offering passengers more flexibility and options for travel between these cities. With this addition, the airline’s weekly services between Colombo and Singapore will increase to ten flights.

The flights will be serviced by Singapore Airlines’ modern fleet, including the Airbus A350 and the Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner. Passengers can expect to enjoy the airline’s premium onboard experience, which includes award-winning service and cutting-edge in-flight entertainment.

This new daytime service aims to provide more convenient connections through Singapore Changi Airport to key destinations in the airline’s extensive route network. This includes improved access to major cities in Australia, China, and the United States, supporting both business and leisure travel.

Commenting on the launch, Biren Poh, General Manager Sri Lanka for Singapore Airlines, stated, “The introduction of a daytime service between Colombo and Singapore underscores our long-standing commitment to the Sri Lankan market. This new operation provides customers with greater scheduling flexibility and enhanced connectivity to key global markets through the Singapore hub. We remain focused on meeting the evolving travel needs of our customers while supporting tourism and trade between Sri Lanka and the rest of the world.”

Tickets are available for purchase through Singapore Airlines’ website at www.singaporeair.com and other distribution channels.
