Stock Market Trading Halted Due to Unusual Transactions

Trading activities at the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) were temporarily suspended at 9:53 a.m. today, October 7, due to unusual trading patterns observed in a newly listed company.

The halt was implemented following the detection of several irregular transactions involving Wealth Trust Securities Limited, which began its secondary market trading for the first time today.
