Two prominent subsidiaries of Guston Limited, Hong Kong—Concord Apparel (Pvt) Ltd, Avissawella, and Concord Footwear (Pvt) Ltd, Ulapane—have reached a significant achievement by earning top honors at the Presidential Export Awards (PEA) for 2024/2025. This year, Concord Apparel (Pvt) Ltd was recognized as the Best Exporter in the Apparel Sector (Medium Scale category), while Concord Footwear (Pvt) Ltd received the Best Exporter Award in the Footwear & Leather Products Sector. These accolades underscore the group’s excellence across two vital export industries.
The prestigious ceremony, organized by the Export Development Board (EDB) of Sri Lanka, took place at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) in Colombo. The event was graced by His Excellency the President of Sri Lanka, Hon. Anura Kumara Dissanayake, highlighting the national significance of export excellence and global competitiveness. Mr. Prasanna Jayasinghe, Managing Director of Guston Limited, accepted the awards on behalf of both factories, marking a proud moment for the group and reaffirming its strong global manufacturing capabilities.
