The formal launch event took place on January 8, 2026, at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH). This launch signifies a major advancement in Sri Lanka’s construction chemicals industry, as it is the first locally developed product tailored to meet the country’s challenging climatic conditions.

The launch event was attended by industry professionals, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders from across the construction sector. The program included a ceremonial opening, a traditional cultural performance, the formal unveiling of the product, and a technical presentation detailing the engineering principles and performance features of MEGAPROOF HI-BUILD. During the event, Mr. Ashoka Siriwardena, Chairman of MEGAKEM Engineering, highlighted the significance of developing construction solutions based on local insights.
