Sri Lanka Boosts Digital Economy with GovPay Expansion Across 55,000 Dialog eZ Cash Outlets

The Sri Lankan government has enhanced its digital payment facilities by integrating the GovPay platform with the Dialog eZ Cash network, which comprises over 55,000 eZ Cash merchant outlets throughout the country. This expansion allows citizens to easily make a variety of government payments, including traffic fines, Municipal and Urban Council fees, Divisional Secretariat payments, government university fees, and other payments to state institutions.

The service was officially launched across the nationwide eZ Cash network with Deputy Minister of Digital Economy Eranga Weeraratne conducting the inaugural transaction.
