The Group recorded robust performance across its Mobile, Fixed Line, and Digital Pay Television sectors, achieving a 16% year-to-date (YTD) growth in Core Revenue. In the fourth quarter of 2025, revenue increased by 2% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) and year-on-year (YoY) to Rs46.5 billion.
Earnings Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA) reached Rs86.0 billion, a 30% increase YTD, supported by Core Revenue growth and cost re-scaling initiatives. The fourth quarter saw a moderate EBITDA growth to Rs23.0 billion, with a margin of 49.5%, aligning with revenue performance. For the fiscal year 2025, the Group’s EBITDA margin was 47.9%, up 9.2 percentage points.
Net Profit After Tax (NPAT) stood at Rs20.8 billion for FY 2025, up 67% YTD, primarily driven by strong EBITDA growth despite increased tax and finance costs. Adjusted for foreign exchange impacts, NPAT growth exceeded 100% YTD, reaching Rs22.1 billion. QoQ, NPAT rose by 3% to Rs5.9 billion due to strong EBITDA performance. The Group’s Operating Free Cash Flow (OFCF) for FY 2025 more than doubled YTD, amounting to Rs49.3 billion.
Dividend Payment to Shareholders
In line with its dividend policy and financial performance, Dialog Axiata PLC’s Board of Directors proposed a dividend of Rs1.50 per share for ordinary shareholders. This dividend translates to a yield of 5.0% based on the FY 2025 share closing price, pending shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM), the date of which will be announced later.
Company and Subsidiary Performance
Dialog Axiata PLC remained the primary contributor to Group Revenue (76%) and Group EBITDA (74%). Continued growth in the Data segment and cost rescaling led to a company revenue of Rs135.8 billion for FY 2025, an 18% increase YTD. EBITDA rose by 32% YTD to Rs63.6 billion. However, Q4 2025 saw a 1% QoQ decrease in revenue to Rs34.8 billion due to a reclassification of Hubbing Revenue, while EBITDA declined by 1% QoQ to Rs17.0 billion, impacted by network restoration costs and Cyclone Ditwah relief donations. NPAT for FY 2025 was Rs15.6 billion, up 41% YTD, with normalized forex impacts pushing NPAT above 100% YTD to Rs17.0 billion. QoQ, NPAT decreased by 6% to Rs4.5 billion.
Dialog Television maintained its leadership in the digital pay-TV market with a subscriber base exceeding 1.6 million by the end of FY 2025. Revenue grew by 4% YTD to Rs12.9 billion, though Q4 2025 saw a 4% decline to Rs3.2 billion due to seasonal advertising revenue fluctuations. EBITDA for DTV rose by 26% YTD to Rs2.7 billion, driven by cost-rationalization efforts, despite recording a net loss of Rs0.7 billion for the year.
Dialog Broadband Networks, covering the Group’s Fixed Telecommunications, Broadband, and International Businesses, reported a 28% decline in revenue to Rs35.5 billion for FY 2025, attributed to a deliberate reduction in low-margin international wholesale business. Despite the revenue decline, EBITDA grew by 29% YTD to Rs19.6 billion, with a margin improvement of 24.3 percentage points to 55%. NPAT exceeded 100% growth YTD, reaching Rs6.1 billion, supported by significant cost reductions.
