Sri Lanka Confirms Appointments of Four New Heads of Mission

The committee on high posts in the Sri Lankan Parliament has given its approval to the appointments of four new heads of mission, solidifying diplomatic relations with Israel, Palestine, Lebanon, and Kenya.

Horana Mahawatte Gedara Saman Kumar Chandrasiri has been confirmed as the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Israel. Meanwhile, Mohamed Farook Mohamed Fawzer has been appointed as the Representative of Sri Lanka to Palestine.

In addition, Warnakulasuriya Peter Rohan Dhammika Fernando will serve as the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Kenya. Anura Withanage has been appointed as the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Lebanon.
