HNB PLC, a leading private bank in Sri Lanka, has announced its involvement as the Title Partner for the Amcham Sri Lanka CEO Forum 2026. This partnership represents a significant private sector commitment to the country’s recovery and long-term economic resilience.

The Amcham Sri Lanka CEO Forum 2026 is scheduled for February 25, 2026, at the Oak Room, Cinnamon Grand Colombo. The event, themed “Accelerating Sri Lanka’s Rebuild,” will gather more than 250 C-suite leaders, senior policymakers, development partners, and global thought leaders for a full day of strategic discussions aimed at restoring confidence, strengthening resilience, and unlocking sustainable growth pathways.

Recognized as one of Sri Lanka’s most influential leadership and policy platforms, the CEO Forum takes place at a crucial time as the nation progresses from stabilization to long-term economic transformation. The event will explore areas such as reform momentum, global economic shifts, and investor expectations while encouraging collaboration between the public and private sectors and international partners.

Damith Pallewatte, HNB’s Managing Director and CEO, emphasized the significance of collective leadership during transitional periods. “At HNB, we believe progress is built through partnership, trust, and forward-looking leadership. As Sri Lanka navigates its path to recovery and renewed growth, platforms that unite business, policy, and global perspectives are vital. We are proud to partner with the Amcham Sri Lanka CEO Forum 2026 to support meaningful dialogue, strengthen confidence, and help unlock sustainable opportunities for the nation’s future,” he stated.

The Forum will feature distinguished keynote speakers from government, international institutions, and global business networks, along with senior Sri Lankan policymakers and private sector leaders. Five thematic panel discussions will address key pillars of Sri Lanka’s rebuild, including economic reform, climate risk, SME resilience, global economic dynamics, and public-private partnerships. These discussions aim to provide clarity and direction to business leaders and policymakers navigating a complex global environment characterized by geopolitical shifts, climate challenges, and uneven growth.
