Vidullanka Launches 6MW Solar Project in Madampe, Sri Lanka

FINANCIAL CHRONICLE – Sri Lankan renewable energy company, Vidullanka, has announced the commissioning of its 6MW solar plant located in Madampe, Bangadeniya, Chilaw. This project was executed through Vidul Madampe Solar Power (Pvt) Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Vidullanka PLC.

According to a statement filed with the stock exchange, the plant is projected to generate 9.9 GWh of clean energy, which will be supplied to the national grid. This initiative is a significant step towards meeting the nation’s renewable energy targets and sustainability objectives.
