Emirates has announced an extension of its temporary suspension of flight operations to and from Dubai, now set to last until 15:00 UAE time on Tuesday, 3 March 2026. This decision comes as a result of ongoing regional airspace closures that continue to disrupt aviation services.
In its latest operational update, issued on 1 March 2026, Emirates stated that the situation is being closely monitored in collaboration with relevant authorities. The airline emphasized the need for passengers to stay informed by checking the latest flight status updates and reviewing notifications sent via email before proceeding to the airport.
Rebooking and Refund Options
Customers affected by the cancellations have the option to rebook on alternate flights scheduled for travel on or before 20 March 2026. Passengers who booked through travel agents are advised to contact their agents directly, whereas those who booked directly with Emirates can seek assistance through the airline’s official channels.
Additionally, Emirates has confirmed that all city check-in facilities in Dubai will remain temporarily closed until further notice. The airline expressed regret for the inconvenience caused by the disruption, emphasizing that the safety and security of passengers and crew are its top priorities.
