The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) has announced changes to the constituents of the S&P Sri Lanka 20 Index, as determined by S&P Dow Jones Indices during the 2025 year-end rebalance.

The updated list of companies, including both exclusions and inclusions, will take effect from 22nd December 2025, following the market close on 19th December 2025.

The S&P Sri Lanka 20 Index comprises the 20 largest companies listed on the CSE, ranked by total market capitalization. To be included, companies must satisfy minimum criteria related to size, liquidity, and financial viability. The index constituents are weighted according to float-adjusted market capitalization, with a single stock cap of 15% in place to minimize concentration risk.

Designed in line with international standards, the S&P Sri Lanka 20 Index classifies all stocks according to the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS®). This system, developed jointly by S&P Dow Jones Indices and MSCI, is recognized and utilized worldwide by market participants.

Eligibility for inclusion in the index requires a minimum float-adjusted market capitalization of Rs 500 million, a six-month median daily value traded of at least Rs 0.25 million, and positive net income during the 12 months preceding the rebalancing reference date. Further details on the index methodology are available at www.spindices.com.

As of 22nd December 2025, the updated list of constituent stocks for the S&P Sri Lanka 20 Index, presented in alphabetical order, will be as follows.
