Ambeon Capital PLC has successfully acquired a controlling interest in Harischandra Mills PLC through its subsidiary, Ambeon Essentials (Private) Limited. As a result of this acquisition, the board of Harischandra Mills PLC will be enhanced by the appointment of four new directors, effective from Tuesday, May 12, 2026.
The newly appointed directors from the Ambeon Group are as follows:
- Mr. Sujeewa Mudalige – Independent, Non-Executive Director
- Dr. Sajeeva Narangoda – Executive Director
- Mr. Savanth Sebastian – Independent, Non-Executive Director
Additionally, renowned Sri Lankan cricketer Mr. Aravinda de Silva has been appointed as a Non-Independent, Non-Executive Director, representing Ambeon Essentials (Private) Limited.
