ASPI Hits Record High in Stock Market Surge

The Colombo Stock Exchange’s benchmark All Share Price Index (ASPI) reached a new all-time high today, closing at 23,708.70 points. This achievement surpasses the previous record of 23,659.70 points, which was set on November 12, 2025.

The ASPI experienced an increase of 100.90 points, representing a 0.43% rise, to achieve this new high. Additionally, the S&P SL20 index also showed a notable performance, gaining 63.65 points, or 0.98%, to close at 6,558.41.
