The ONE LOVE Reggae Music Festival 2026, a tribute to Bob Marley originally set to take place in Bentota at the end of March, has been postponed. The organizers have rescheduled the event for August 2026, aligning it with the upcoming tourist season.

The Organising Committee for the ONE LOVE Reggae Music Festival 2026 has issued an official announcement regarding this change. After a comprehensive evaluation, the decision was made in the best interests of all stakeholders, including artists, partners, patrons, and host destinations. The festival, which is the first of its kind in Asia, has been rescheduled due to several factors. These include ongoing tensions in the Middle East, disruptions to air travel, and the need to ensure the safety and convenience of international artists. Additionally, timely completion of venue development works at Warahena Beach, Bentota, with the necessary regulatory and provincial authorities’ approvals, was also a consideration.

The organizers express their sincere appreciation for the continued support, patience, and understanding shown by sponsors, partners, artists, tourism authorities, media representatives, and reggae fans both locally and internationally.

Details about the new lineup of international reggae artists, exact festival dates and times, and travel packages for regional fans will be announced in due course, along with ticket sales information.

This announcement is issued by One In A Million Company Pvt Ltd., on behalf of the ONE LOVE Organising Committee. For further information, please contact office.oneinamillion@gmail.com.
