Binance Recognized in Inaugural Fortune Crypto 100 Rankings as a Key Player in the Global Digital Asset Landscape

Binance, a prominent player in the blockchain ecosystem and digital asset infrastructure, has been recognized in the CeFi category of the inaugural Fortune Crypto 100 list.

With nearly nine years of consistent growth, Binance has established itself as the preferred platform for over 320 million users worldwide, ranging from novice investors to institutional entities, and serves as a crucial component of the global digital asset market.

The inclusion in the CeFi category of the Fortune Crypto 100, compiled independently by Fortune’s editorial team, underscores Binance’s leadership in the digital asset space, its dedication to innovation, and its efforts to promote cryptocurrency adoption worldwide.

As the largest digital asset exchange in terms of trading volume, Binance caters to more than 320 million registered users across more than 100 nations. In 2025, the platform recorded an impressive $34 trillion in trading activity, contributing to a staggering cumulative trading volume of $145 trillion, a figure that remains unparalleled in the sector.

This accolade comes at a time when Binance is diversifying its offerings beyond cryptocurrencies, aiming to create a comprehensive financial super app. Initial interest in these new products has been robust; for instance, its stock trading service amassed over $400 million in assets under management within its first week of operation, while pre-IPO perpetual contracts linked to SpaceX achieved over $2.1 billion in trading volume within just 18 days. Additionally, this recognition follows the inclusion of Yi He in Fortune’s Most Powerful Women in Business list in May 2026, marking her as the first executive from the crypto sector to earn this distinction in the list’s nearly three-decade history. These achievements highlight Binance’s growing impact and the expanding significance of the digital asset industry in the wider business landscape.

Richard Teng, Co-CEO of Binance, commented, “This acknowledgment from Fortune is a testament to what we have cultivated over the past nine years: a transparent, accessible, and reliable platform for individuals worldwide to engage in the digital economy. It also reinforces Binance’s position as not only the largest exchange by trading volume but also a pivotal force in shaping global interactions with digital assets today. Being included in this inaugural list is significant, but the trust of over 320 million users in Binance is what truly matters to us.”

Yi He, Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Binance, added, “We have always maintained that the purpose of cryptocurrency extends beyond mere market dynamics. It is fundamentally about creating the infrastructure that ensures equal access to the global financial system for everyone, irrespective of their background or financial standing. This mission must be built on a foundation of trust. In the CeFi realm, such trust is derived from strong user protections, high-level security, and the assurance that user assets are fully backed. Being included in this list, alongside other innovators and institutions advancing this industry, is a source of pride for the entire Binance team.”

The Fortune Crypto 100 encompasses ten categories, including traditional finance, decentralized finance, venture capital, mining, stablecoins, and digital asset trading, honoring both crypto-native firms and established financial organizations. The list was independently created by the Fortune Crypto editorial team, drawing insights from a survey of leading crypto professionals, along with financial and technical evaluations from Inca Digital.
