Chemron Lubricants Lanka PLC has teamed up with the Ceylon German Technical Training Institute to introduce Caltex Abimani Women in STEM, a corporate social responsibility project aimed at empowering young women in Sri Lanka who are interested in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education.
This initiative underscores Chevron’s dedication to promoting diversity and inclusion. It offers scholarships to deserving students, equipping them with the necessary tools and resources while enhancing their confidence to pursue technical training that leads to fruitful careers.
The launch event took place in Colombo and represented a significant step forward in the ongoing partnership between Chevron Lubricants Lanka PLC and the Ceylon German Technical Training Institute. Both entities are committed to encouraging women’s involvement in technical education, thereby contributing to a more inclusive and innovative future for Sri Lanka.
