Sri Lanka Transforms Pelwatte Sugar Site into Thriving Tourism Hub
FINANCIAL CHRONICLE – The Sri Lankan cabinet has given the green light to seek investors for transforming the Pelwatte Sugar Factory premises into tourist attractions through a public-private partnership (PPP). “There is potential to develop selected locations of the Pelwatte Sugar Factory into tourist attractions,” stated cabinet spokesman Minister Nalinda Jayatissa during a press briefing.
