  • World Bank Commits $400 Million to Support Sri Lanka’s Development

    FINANCIAL CHRONICLE – The Sri Lankan cabinet of ministers has approved a proposal to secure $400 million from the World Bank. According to Minister Vijitha Herath, “The World Bank has agreed to provide this funding as part of the Resilience, Stability, and Economic Turnaround (RESET) Development Policy Operation (DPO), a three-year program set for 2026-2028.”
