A group of three-wheel drivers met with the Inspector General of Police (IGP) on Thursday to raise complaints against ride-hailing platforms, demanding uniform rates across app-based and independent services. A representative of the group said passengers often choose app-based services because of lower fares, without being aware of how those pricing models affect drivers’ earnings.
