Loans will be available for terms of up to seven years, featuring competitive low interest rates that are adapted to the selected repayment period. This flexible financing structure is designed to facilitate a seamless, affordable, and transparent transition to renewable energy for households, businesses, and industrial clients across Sri Lanka.

By leveraging the David Pieris Group’s trusted 40-year legacy in conjunction with DPRE’s technical expertise and industry experience, as well as HNB’s extensive banking network and financial capabilities, the initiative is anticipated to significantly enhance the adoption of solar energy across the nation.

This partnership is in strong alignment with Sri Lanka’s national energy goals, which include generating 70% of electricity from renewable sources by 2030 and achieving carbon net-zero by 2050. It underscores both organizations’ commitment to sustainable development and a greener future.
