DFCC Bank PLC has rolled out a range of new features on its DFCC ONE platform, enhancing the digital banking experience and providing customers with improved flexibility, accessibility, and confidence in managing their finances across both mobile and desktop devices.
The focal point of these enhancements is the introduction of DFCC ONE Online, a new online banking platform crafted to deliver a seamless and familiar banking experience across various devices. Customers can log in using their existing DFCC ONE credentials and enjoy an intuitive interface that reflects the simplicity of the mobile app, facilitating a more streamlined digital banking experience whether accessed via mobile or desktop.
These latest updates bolster DFCC ONE as a comprehensive digital banking solution, enabling customers to efficiently handle their daily banking needs from a single platform. New functionalities include the ability to pay traffic fines, digital transaction capabilities for sole proprietorships, enhanced person-to-person fund transfers, and payments through LankaQR.
Customers can now conveniently pay traffic fines directly through the DFCC ONE App, allowing them to complete transactions anytime and anywhere without needing to visit physical locations. This feature aims to simplify the process of settling traffic fines and minimize the time spent on manual tasks.
Additionally, DFCC Bank has made it possible for sole proprietors to perform digital transactions, enabling small business owners to link their business accounts with the DFCC ONE App. This integration provides users a cohesive view of both personal and business accounts, allowing them to manage various transactions, including QR payments, fund transfers, bill payments, card payments, and external fund transfers from one platform.
The upgraded person-to-person fund transfer feature now allows customers to execute instant transfers using QR codes. Users can share their unique QR code to quickly and securely transfer funds of up to LKR 5,000, enhancing convenience for everyday transactions.
Moreover, DFCC ONE users can make payments at merchants that support LankaQR through the app. The Scan & Pay functionality facilitates rapid and secure merchant payments, promoting the broader adoption of digital payment methods.
Both the DFCC ONE App and the newly launched DFCC ONE Online are available in all three languages, enhancing accessibility for customers throughout Sri Lanka. Furthermore, customers can open savings accounts and fixed deposits via both platforms, and the DFCC ONE App allows for card settlements and bill payments using DFCC Bank Credit Cards.
Deepa Edirisooriya, Vice President and Chief Digital Officer of DFCC Bank PLC, commented, “Customer expectations regarding banking are evolving swiftly, and digital platforms must facilitate everyday financial tasks in a simpler, quicker, and more accessible manner.
