DMS Software Technologies (Pvt) Ltd successfully organized an event titled “FinOps Unlocked: Cloud Clarity Delivered with IBM Cloudability” on June 10, 2026, held at the Celestine Ballroom in Cinnamon Life, Colombo. The gathering was well-attended, featuring numerous technology leaders and IT decision-makers from prominent organizations throughout Sri Lanka.
The primary aim of the event was to assist organizations in navigating the complexities of cloud financial management and to optimize their cloud investments by implementing FinOps best practices.
The event commenced with a session entitled “From Cloud Spend to Business Value: The FinOps Journey,” presented by Vijay Balan, Partner Sales for ISA & SEA at IBM Corporation. He emphasized the increasing significance of FinOps in helping organizations synchronize their cloud expenditures with overarching business goals.
A keynote address titled “From Visibility to Control – Managing Cloud Spend at Scale” was given by Madhur Kaushik, Partner Technical Specialist for the Asia Region at IBM Apptio. This presentation delved into how organizations can achieve enhanced visibility into cloud expenditures, boost accountability, and establish robust governance frameworks using IBM Cloudability.
A significant moment during the event was marked by Lasantha Bogoda, Director/CEO of DMS Software Technologies (Pvt) Ltd, who announced the introduction of the DMS IBM Cloudability Managed Service Provider (MSP) Program in Sri Lanka. Mr. Bogoda remarked, “The adoption of cloud technology has revolutionized the way businesses innovate and expand.
