EDB Hosts Strategic Workshop on Risk Management and Incoterms for Potential and SME Exporters

The Sri Lanka Export Development Board is set to host a specialized, customer-focused training program themed “Risk Management, Strategies and Incoterms to Win Competitiveness in International Trade Beyond Borders.” Scheduled for Wednesday, February 18th, the workshop will run from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM, aiming to boost the export capabilities of potential exporters and small to medium-sized entrepreneurs.

Expert export trainer Dinesh De Silva will conduct the program, offering explanations in both Sinhala and English. The workshop will feature practical exercises rooted in real-world industry scenarios.

This event will take place in the auditorium on the 3rd floor of the NDB-EDB Building, located at No. 42, Nawam Mawatha, Colombo 02. Participants can expect to gain valuable insights into several key areas, such as strategies for establishing and negotiating orders, building buyer confidence and credibility, product knowledge, effective labeling and packaging, strategic pricing for competitiveness, business risk management, the practical application of Incoterms in trade, and the use of international payment terms for secure transactions.
