Emirates has unveiled an extensive plan to deploy aircraft and upgrade its services, broadening the reach of its Premium Economy offering and enhancing customer experience across its network.
As part of its ongoing retrofit program, Emirates will complete the upgrade of its first high-density, two-class A380 aircraft by mid-April. This aircraft will be transformed into a three-class configuration, consisting of 76 Business Class seats, 56 Premium Economy seats, and 437 Economy Class seats.
The first upgraded aircraft is scheduled to serve flights EK903/904 between Dubai and Amman from April 14 to May 31, subsequently transitioning to Prague on EK139/140 from June 1. Emirates aims to retrofit all 15 of its two-class A380s into the new three-class configuration by November.
In Europe and North America, New York JFK will see a four-class retrofitted A380 in service on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays starting April 1, with daily service expected from June 1. From March 1, a four-class A380 featuring Premium Economy will operate on flights EK085/086 to Zurich, providing over 1,500 weekly Premium Economy seats to and from the city. Additionally, flights EK101/102 to Milan will utilize a retrofitted three-class Boeing 777-200LR with Premium Economy from May 10, while flights EK165/166 to Dublin will use the same aircraft type from October 25, ensuring all 21 weekly flights to Dublin include Premium Economy.
In Asia, Emirates will operate flights EK392/393 to Ho Chi Minh City with a three-class retrofitted Boeing 777-200LR starting May 1, offering more than 600 weekly Premium Economy seats on double daily flights. Furthermore, flights EK382/383 to Hong Kong will transition from a Boeing 777-300ER to an A380 on October 1, with a retrofitted A380 featuring Premium Economy set to commence from December 1.
In Africa, Emirates will start operating flights EK729/730 to Entebbe with the new A350 from March 29. In the Middle East, flights EK945/946 to Basra will use a retrofitted four-class Boeing 777-300ER from May 1, featuring Premium Economy across all five weekly flights. In the Indian Ocean region, flights EK709/710 to Mauritius will employ a retrofitted three-class Boeing 777-200LR from March 29.
From October 1, Emirates will deploy a three-class A380 on flights EK362/363 between Dubai and Guangzhou, offering First, Business, and Economy Class seats.
