Emirates is introducing a new range of complimentary amenity kits for Premium Economy and Economy Class customers on long-haul flights worldwide, available onboard from December. These new kits feature buttery-soft pouches made from bio-based materials, including cactus, and are designed in partnership with United for Wildlife to spotlight some of the world’s most endangered species. For the first time, Premium Economy amenity kits will include wellness skincare products from plant-powered brand Aveda.

The reusable amenity kits celebrate global wildlife across four natural environments: sea, sky, forest, and desert. Each bag is adorned with hand-drawn designs and comes with a story card providing insights into the featured wildlife. Emirates and United for Wildlife are highlighting endangered species such as African grey parrots, Arabian gazelles, Arabian oryx, Asian black bears, Bengal tigers, blue sharks, Bornean orangutans, Cape vultures, chimpanzees, fennec foxes, geckos, gibbons, glass frogs, green sea turtles, manta rays, painted bats, pangolins, peregrine falcons, red sand boas, small-clawed otters, straw-headed bulbuls, totoaba, and western gorillas.

Passengers can learn more about the efforts of HRH Prince William and The Royal Foundation’s United for Wildlife by watching the ‘Guardians’ series on Emirates’ award-winning inflight entertainment system, ice. The series highlights the unsung heroes and wildlife rangers dedicated to protecting the natural world.

Premium Economy Class Amenity Kit Bags for 2025/26

For the first time since launching Premium Economy in 2021, Emirates is offering a unique amenity kit bag in this cabin, complete with a convenient wrist strap and filled with travel wellness products. The spacious kit includes soft socks, eyeshades, earplugs, a Colgate dental kit, and Aveda products such as lip balm, hand relief moisturizing cream, and hydrating face lotion. The socks and eyeshades are made from 100% recycled post-consumer polyester, while the story card and earplug packaging use paper from responsibly managed forests.

Available on overnight flights of longer duration, each collectible kit bag features endangered species through hand-drawn artwork and a story card naming the animal depicted. Highlighted species in Premium Economy include pangolins, glass frogs, chimpanzees, Bengal tigers, Asian black bears, totoaba, small-clawed otters, manta rays, green sea turtles, geckos, peregrine falcons, red sand boas, fennec foxes, African grey parrots, painted bats, straw-headed bulbuls, and Cape vultures.

These kits, available on longer overnight flights, also highlight endangered species through unique hand-drawn designs and a story card that names the animal pictured. Featured species in Economy Class kits include Arabian gazelles, Arabian oryx, blue sharks, western gorillas, gibbons, Bornean orangutans, Bengal tigers, Asian black bears, small-clawed otters, manta rays, green sea turtles, peregrine falcons, fennec foxes, African grey parrots, and Cape vultures.

Commitment to Environmental Sustainability

Emirates’ partnership with United for Wildlife forms an integral part of the airline’s Environmental Sustainability Framework, focusing on the prevention of illegal wildlife trade. Emirates actively combats illegal wildlife trafficking as a member of the United for Wildlife Transport Taskforce and enforces a zero-tolerance policy towards the illegal trade of wildlife and wildlife products. Emirates SkyCargo, the airline’s freight division, has implemented a complete ban on the transport of hunting trophies from elephants, rhinoceros, lions, and tigers. In June 2023, Emirates further demonstrated its commitment to responsible environmental practices by achieving IATA Environmental Assessment (IEnvA) Stage One and the IEnvA Illegal Wildlife Trade module certifications.
