HNB and Singer Propel Agricultural Development with Innovative Leasing Strategies

HNB PLC has announced a collaborative agreement with Singer Sri Lanka PLC aimed at enhancing the availability of John Deere tractors throughout Sri Lanka.

This collaborative initiative by HNB Leasing is designed to boost agricultural productivity by offering accessible leasing options and a range of value-added services for John Deere tractors distributed by Singer, thereby fostering sustainable development.

Kanchana Karunagama, Senior Vice President and Head of Retail Banking at HNB, remarked, “Our focus at HNB remains steadfast on driving growth within Sri Lanka’s agricultural sector through innovative and responsible financial solutions. Under this partnership, HNB will offer leasing solutions at a preferential rate with structured payments specifically for customers acquiring John Deere tractors. Additionally, beneficiaries will enjoy a value-added credit card with the first year’s annual fee waived. Other perks include discounted vehicle insurance rates through HNB General Insurance and eligibility for the Govi Saviya product.
