In the lead-up to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, HUTCH Sri Lanka is introducing a unique initiative to engage communities with the spirit of cricket by bringing the excitement of the season directly to cities and towns nationwide.

Central to this initiative is a nationwide campaign to support Sri Lanka’s cricket team, launched in collaboration with Supreme Global Holdings, HUTCH’s strategic media and activation partner. The highlight of the campaign is Sri Lanka’s largest cricket bat, standing at an impressive 25 feet and signed by cricket legend Kumar Sangakkara. Fans from across the nation are invited to add their signatures alongside Sangakkara’s, transforming the bat into a powerful symbol of pride, passion, unity, and collective support for the national cricket squad.

The HUTCH wishing truck will journey through over 40 cities and towns, gathering wishes throughout the group stage of the tournament. As the bat travels across the island, both local and visiting fans are encouraged to sign it, express their wishes, and become part of a historic national celebration of cricket, a sport that holds a special place in the heart of the nation.

This initiative marks a significant community-led cricket activation, blending sport, culture, and experiential engagement on an unprecedented scale. As the truck moves from location to location, it offers interactive games and instant rewards, creating a vibrant, festival-like atmosphere wherever it goes.

Through this nationwide campaign, HUTCH aims to foster cricket spirit among fans while highlighting its dedication to innovation, inclusivity, and enhancing shared experiences. As Sri Lanka rallies behind the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, HUTCH remains committed to connecting people with the moments, passions, and communities that matter most.
