Intex, South Asia’s premier textile sourcing platform, in collaboration with InMac, a specialized exhibition for textile and garment technology, is set to return to the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) from August 5 to 7, 2026. This event aims to unite the global textile and apparel sectors under one venue.
This significant exhibition reinforces Sri Lanka’s status as a key hub for textile sourcing, apparel production, and industrial advancement. The Intex-InMac Sri Lanka 2026 event enjoys the endorsement of prominent industry organizations and trade associations, including the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB), the Industrial Development Board (IDB), the Indonesian Embassy in Sri Lanka, the Joint Apparel Association Forum (JAAF) and its member groups, as well as the Sri Lanka-China Business Cooperation Council (SLCBCC), among others.
This year’s exhibition is anticipated to host over 250 exhibitors from more than 15 countries and regions, showcasing cutting-edge developments across the textile and apparel supply chain. Attendees can expect to see a variety of products, including fashion fabrics, fibers, yarns, denim, trims, accessories, sustainable and functional textiles, chemicals, dyes, and textile processing technologies. InMac will also feature advanced garment machinery, AI-driven sewing systems, automated cutting and spreading technology, digital printing solutions, factory automation, and smart manufacturing innovations aimed at enhancing efficiency and lowering production costs.
The event is poised to attract buyer delegations and trade visitors from over 12 countries, offering valuable opportunities for international sourcing, technology collaborations, investments, and business growth.

A major feature of the exhibition will be the three-day Interactive Business Forum (IBF) Seminar Series, organized in partnership with GTEX-ITC and the Moratuwa University Textile Association (MUTA). This forum aims to bring together renowned industry experts and thought leaders to discuss emerging trends, technological innovations, and the future trajectory of Sri Lanka’s textile and apparel sector.
