ITC Ratnadipa has launched Rūhāniyat, a unique dining experience that immerses guests in the rich tapestry of Indian culinary heritage. Open from July 10 to August 16 at Level 2 of ITC Ratnadipa in Colombo, this temporary restaurant offers a carefully curated à la carte menu showcasing beloved regional dishes and traditional favorites during both lunch and dinner services.
Rūhāniyat honors the vast diversity and time-honored customs of Indian gastronomy. The menu features an array of dishes, including kebabs, chaats, biryanis, slow-cooked curries, artisanal Indian breads, vegetarian delights, and a selection of Meethai (desserts). Notable offerings include Murgh Tandoori, Murgh Malai Kebab, Seekh Kebab, Dilli Chole Samosa Chaat, Dal Bukhara, Paneer Makhani, Dum Murgh Biryani, Dum Gosht Biryani, and Jhinga Biryani, complemented by a variety of authentic side dishes and traditional desserts inspired by India’s renowned culinary regions.
The name Rūhāniyat is derived from the word ‘ruh,’ which translates to ‘soul,’ embodying the essence of Indian cuisine as a soulful experience that transcends mere sustenance. It reflects an ethos of gratitude, generosity, and community, where family recipes are cherished through generations, every dish tells a story, and shared meals create lasting memories.

Rūhāniyat will be open for lunch from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and for dinner from 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. from July 10 to August 16.
