Janashakthi Finance appoints Sithambaram Sri Ganendran as CEO

Janashakthi Finance PLC, formerly known as Orient Finance PLC and a subsidiary of JXG (Janashakthi Group), has announced the appointment of Sithambaram Sri Ganendran as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Sri Ganendran, who assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer in September 2024, has served as Acting Chief Executive Officer for the past four months. With nearly 27 years of experience in the banking sector, he has held senior management positions at several local and international banks. His expertise spans operations, branch banking in both retail and SME sectors, operational risk, business continuity management, business integration, process reengineering, operational excellence, sales governance, and credit card operations.

He holds an MBA from American City University and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), United Kingdom. Additionally, he is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI) and a member of the Association of Professional Bankers of Sri Lanka.
