FINANCIAL CHRONICLE – JPMorgan Chase, a prominent US-based financial institution, has acquired WealthOS, a pensions management firm with offices in Sri Lanka and the UK, according to a media report. The acquisition is aimed at enhancing JPMorgan’s retirement planning services, as reported by Reuters.

WealthOS was established by Anton Padmasiri, a financial professional with extensive expertise in wealth management. Padmasiri has previously contributed to the relaunch of a self-invested pension fund (SIPP) during his tenure at Fidelity financial group. The firm was co-founded by Chamat Arambewela, who has experience in financial market infrastructure from his work at the London Stock Exchange Group.
