Mr. Wegapitiya, a technology entrepreneur and proponent of innovation, has established a remarkable international career that spans Management & Finance, Global Marketing, Information Technology, and Digital Transformation. Over the past ten years, he has collaborated with globally recognized firms such as Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Deutsche Bank, Virtusa Corporation, and Ve Interactive, serving markets in Sri Lanka, the Asia-Pacific, and the Americas.
Recognized as a thought leader in emerging technologies, Mr. Wegapitiya has been a strong advocate for Intelligent Automation, Robotic Process Automation, and Blockchain technologies, spearheading digital transformation initiatives across various industries. In 2016, he co-founded POTENZA, a global technology consultancy focused on SAP Consulting, Data & Analytics, and Intelligent Automation, which currently operates in eleven countries, serving leading regional and global brands.
He actively participates in several industry organizations, including the Executive Committee of SLASSCOM’s Intelligent Automation Center of Excellence and the Board of FITIS, while also being the youngest member of the board at Sri Lanka CERT|CC, the national body responsible for cybersecurity and threat-response coordination.
Dr. Niroshan J Pieries, on the other hand, brings over twenty years of experience across various sectors such as energy, lubricants, logistics, telecommunications, banking, insurance, and customer service. Having held numerous senior leadership roles within the LAUGFS Group, he has been instrumental in driving business transformation, providing strategic leadership, achieving operational excellence, and enhancing brand development across multiple sectors.
Apart from his corporate duties, Dr. Pieries also plays a significant role in academia as a Senior Lecturer in Management and Leadership at several local and international institutions, helping to nurture the next generation of business professionals and emerging leaders.
