LG Electronics has unveiled its strategic vision for the Asia-Pacific market during the LG InnoFest 2026 APAC event in Busan, Korea, showcasing how technological advancements are redefining home living in the region. The exhibition featured a wide array of home solutions specifically tailored to meet the unique needs and lifestyles of Asian consumers, including laundry, kitchen, and built-in products.
The event, which took place from April 7 to 10, served as the culmination of LG’s 2026 InnoFest series, bringing together over 200 partners and media representatives from around 20 countries in the Asia-Pacific region. The focus was on fostering collaboration and sharing business insights among stakeholders.
Under the theme “Innovation, Forward Together,” LG InnoFest 2026 APAC provided an in-depth showcase of products and innovations tailored to the lifestyles of Asian consumers. The exhibition highlighted LG’s K-Tech innovations, demonstrating the company’s commitment to delivering practical home solutions that resonate with diverse cultural elements across the region.
In the laundry segment, LG is expanding its offerings with the introduction of a full WashTower™ lineup, which includes a new 25-inch model designed for Asian households, complementing existing 24-inch and 27-inch options. This collection emphasizes space-saving designs and convenience, reflecting LG’s understanding of various housing situations in Asia. Additionally, new top-load washers featuring Artificial Intelligence Direct Drive™ (AI DD™) technology enhance fabric care by optimizing washing motions according to fabric type and soil level. The TurboWash™ 3D feature offers complete cycles in under 30 minutes, while an automatic dispenser measures and dispenses detergent, minimizing the need for frequent refills.
The LG WashCombo™ further enhances drying solutions as an all-in-one model, utilizing LG’s Inverter HeatPump™ technology for efficient drying. This aligns with Asian consumers’ growing focus on energy efficiency, while a broader standalone dryer lineup presents high-efficiency options. LG’s commercial laundry solutions are designed for high-demand usage, featuring customizable wash programs and a user-friendly front-access design. A new commercial washer-dryer HeatPump Combo will integrate washing and drying into a single unit, aiming for global expansion following high demand in Korea.
In the kitchen category, LG is introducing refrigerator models that cater to various lifestyles and housing conditions throughout Asia. The innovative Fit & Max design includes a Zero Clearance Hinge, creating a built-in look without wasted space, while maximizing storage in smaller kitchens. LG’s advanced Ice Solution features four ice options—Craft Ice™, Crushed, Cubed, and Mini Craft—tailored for everyday use and entertaining.
For efficient dish cleaning, LG’s latest dishwasher offers a unique one-hour wash-and-dry cycle. The QuadWash™ Pro employs four spray arms with high-pressure jets and microbubbles to clean dishes effectively from all angles. The Dynamic Heat Dry+ feature utilizes moisture-absorbing materials to eliminate humidity, producing warm, dry air for optimal drying performance, achieving A-grade energy efficiency across key models in both premium and volume categories.
For Southeast Asian markets, LG is set to launch a specialized built-in kitchen collection that includes ovens, cooktops, and hoods, catering to both business and consumer segments. A standout product is the advanced Camera Oven, which features an internal camera to identify ingredients and recommend optimal cooking modes while monitoring the cooking process.
In a first for InnoFest, LG introduced live commerce sessions for partners, creating an interactive sales atmosphere directly from the event floor. Attendees had the opportunity to explore three exhibition zones representing different home environments across Asia, with designs inspired by popular Korean dramas, thus creating a relatable and engaging experience for participants.
Within these zones, LG showcased its AI Home vision, illustrating how intelligent technologies can enhance daily living through greater convenience. With the AI Home Hub, ThinQ ON™, LG’s AI-enabled appliances and IoT devices are interconnected, offering users intuitive and integrated home experiences. ThinQ ON has already launched in its initial market, with plans for phased introductions across Asia, beginning with Australia and Thailand.
As part of its long-term growth strategy in Asia, LG is also expanding its innovation initiatives through LG Subscribe, a flexible subscription service for home appliances. The company is actively developing this service in key urbanized markets, including Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, and Vietnam, providing customers with access to appliances and comprehensive product care.
Jaeseung Kim, Regional CEO of LG Electronics Asia Pacific, emphasized the importance of the Asia market, stating, “Asia is one of our most dynamic and important markets, and InnoFest 2026 gives us a valuable opportunity to connect with our partners and share our vision for the future. Building on our technology innovation, we are advancing AI-powered home solutions that reflect local lifestyles.”
