Marriott Bonvoy Secures Major ICC Partnership, Featuring Sri Lanka’s T20 World Cup

Marriott Bonvoy and the International Cricket Council (ICC) have entered into a strategic partnership, designating Marriott International’s acclaimed travel platform as the Official Accommodation Partner for the ICC until 2029. This collaboration bridges the world of cricket with exceptional travel experiences, offering Marriott Bonvoy’s 260 million members the chance to indulge in the sport’s excitement across various continents while highlighting Marriott Bonvoy’s extensive range of services to cricket’s enthusiastic global audience.

The agreement encompasses all ICC Men’s events over the next four years, including the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 in India and Sri Lanka, the ICC World Test Championship Final 2027 in the United Kingdom, the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027 in South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia, the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2028 in Australia and New Zealand, the ICC World Test Championship Final 2029 in the United Kingdom, and the ICC Champions Trophy 2029 in India.

With over 450 properties in the markets where ICC events are held, Marriott is well-equipped to accommodate teams, fans, and members traveling domestically and internationally for the games. Fans attending ICC events will have the opportunity to stay at Marriott Bonvoy’s global portfolio of hotels and can purchase official travel packages with ICC Travel and Tours.

As cricket stands as one of the world’s most-watched sports, its global fan base is undeniable. This partnership extends Marriott Bonvoy’s mission of connecting people to the passions and places they love, granting members access to exclusive ICC experiences in destinations where Marriott International operates. To ensure premium world-class experiences for fans, Marriott Bonvoy and the ICC will collaborate to design and launch new hospitality offerings at select venues during ICC events worldwide.

Marriott Bonvoy will also partner with the ICC to curate bespoke cricket-related content, initiate local activations, and enhance member engagement.
