MAS Holdings has officially presented the podium and performance kits for Team Sri Lanka in anticipation of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, scheduled to take place from July 23 to August 2, 2026, in Glasgow, Scotland. The kit collection, created in collaboration with the Commonwealth Games Association of Sri Lanka (CGA Sri Lanka), was revealed during a press conference for Team Sri Lanka on July 15 at the Olympic House in Colombo.
The official kits are designed for a national team comprising 42 athletes who will compete in various sports, including Athletics, Para Athletics, Boxing, Gymnastics, Swimming, Weightlifting, and Judo. Recognizing the unique demands of each sport regarding movement, fit, and comfort, MAS carefully crafted the performance kits to meet these needs while ensuring a cohesive representation of Sri Lankan identity across all apparel.
This year’s design theme, “Sacred Giants of Sri Lanka,” draws on the cultural significance of the Sri Lankan elephant, a symbol of strength, dignity, and endurance in the nation’s heritage. These attributes resonate with the experiences of Sri Lankan athletes, many of whom have achieved international recognition despite facing numerous challenges and limited resources. The designs pay tribute to the dedication and resilience of these athletes and the pride they feel in representing their country.

Arosh Fernando, Director of Product Innovation at MAS, expressed pride in supporting Team Sri Lanka through their collaboration with the National Olympic Committee for the Commonwealth Games.
