Maxxis Ceylon Open 2026 Wraps Up with Champions Celebrated in Nine Distinct Categories

The Maxxis Ceylon Open 2026 successfully wrapped up its Grand Finale Weekend on August 22 and 23 at Padel House, CR & FC, marking the conclusion of one of Sri Lanka’s premier padel doubles tournaments.

This event was organized by Padel Chief, a digital platform developed in Sri Lanka focused on competitive racket sports, with Maxxis Sri Lanka serving as the title sponsor. The tournament featured three divisions—Pro, Intermediate, and Beginner—and included nine categories across Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed Doubles. Over the span of two months, matches were held on a flexible schedule, culminating in the semi-finals and finals during the two-day finale.

With a total prize pool of LKR 330,000, the championship offered one of the largest cash prizes seen in Sri Lankan padel tournaments. Additionally, it introduced the country’s first public padel draw, organized by W15 and sponsored by W15 Collection, with Anujon Yogendran and Anjana De Silva overseeing the proceedings.
