The next monthly lecture is set for June 18 at the Jasmine Hall, BMICH, and will feature Dr. Prabath Jayasinghe, a Principal Scientist at the National Aquatic Resources Research and Development Agency (NARA) and a leading marine researcher in Sri Lanka.
Dr. Jayasinghe will share significant findings from the remarkable 30-day journey of the research vessel Dr. Fridtjof Nansen, which is recognized as the most extensive scientific survey ever conducted in Sri Lankan waters through the Nansen Programme. Attendees will be provided with a unique opportunity to hear firsthand insights from this pioneering expedition and its findings within Sri Lanka’s Exclusive Economic Zone.
