NCINGA Honored with 2026 Google Cloud Partner of the Year Award

Nevada, USA, April 2026: At the Google Cloud Next 2026 conference in Las Vegas, NCINGA was honored with the Google Cloud Partner of the Year Award for Social Impact: Community Empowerment and Resilience.

This prestigious recognition from Google Cloud highlights a partner that has demonstrated a dedicated and ongoing commitment to using technology for social good. From its inception, NCINGA has made social upliftment a core aspect of its business approach. Through its initiative known as the “Foundation of Humanity,” NCINGA utilizes Google Cloud technologies to support Sri Lanka’s most at-risk communities, focusing on programs that promote digital inclusion, education, gender equity, healthcare, reliable energy supply, and the transition to renewable energy.

Kevin Ichhpurani, President of Global Partner Ecosystem and Channels at Google Cloud, stated, “The Google Cloud Partner Awards celebrate the innovative strategies and significant value that our partners provide to their clients. We are excited to recognize NCINGA as a 2026 Google Cloud Partner Award winner for their contributions to customer success over the past year.”

Imal Kalutotage, Founder and Chairman of NCINGA, emphasized the connection between their social impact initiatives and their business philosophy, stating, “Our work through the Foundation of Humanity is deeply intertwined with our belief that technology should create opportunities and foster resilience for all. ‘Engineered for Humanity’ reflects our commitment to addressing human-centric challenges through technology for our clients and the communities we serve.” He also noted that the Foundation allocates 10% of its net profits to support education, leadership, entrepreneurship, and healthcare initiatives, aiming to enhance resilience and opportunities for the most vulnerable communities. “Our interconnected global community necessitates broader access to technology for collective advancement,” he added.

Over the years, NCINGA has led various social impact initiatives aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. These initiatives include upskilling rural IT educators in AI and machine learning, renovating school infrastructure and improving digital access in underserved areas, providing educational materials for children from low-income families, conducting legal awareness and entrepreneurial skill-building workshops for rural women, and securing vital funding for emergency healthcare services during economic hardships.

Looking ahead, NCINGA aims to utilize Google AI and Google Cloud to enhance energy delivery, benefiting individuals, businesses, and entire economies. By harnessing these technologies, NCINGA plans to bolster energy reliability, minimize fuel waste through improved supply and demand management, facilitate a transition to greener energy sources, and reduce reliance on fossil fuels. These initiatives reflect the organization’s foundational principles and are increasingly crucial in addressing current energy supply challenges.
