International R&B star Ne-Yo has issued an apology to his Sri Lankan fans following the cancellation of his scheduled concert in Colombo.

In a social media post, the singer expressed his “deepest apologies” and said he looks forward to returning to Sri Lanka soon, citing “unforeseen circumstances” as the reason for the cancellation.

The concert, originally set for December 28, 2025, at the Sugathadasa Outdoor Stadium, was called off abruptly by organisers Brown Boy Presents. Fraud complaints have since been lodged with the Kollupitiya Police, with reports suggesting the organisers had collected significant ticket revenue—priced at Rs. 15,000 and above—before fleeing the country under suspicious circumstances.

The cancellation has sparked public outrage, with fans and authorities investigating into the alleged financial misconduct by the organisers.
