Radisson hands over management of Galadari hotel in Sri Lanka to its Belgian partner.

FINANCIAL CHRONICLE – Radisson Hotel Asia Pacific Investments has officially assigned its rights concerning Galadari Hotels to its affiliate, Radisson Hospitality Belgium BV, as per a market announcement from the Colombo-based hotel.

This transfer follows the establishment of a Hotel Development Services Agreement and a Hotel Management Agreement between Galadari Hotels and Radisson Hotel Asia Pacific Investments Pte Ltd in 2023.

The company announced, “We wish to inform that Radisson Hotel Asia Pacific Investments Pte. Ltd has delegated its rights and responsibilities under the aforementioned agreements to its affiliate, Radisson Hospitality Belgium BV, effective January 1, 2025.”

According to Galadari, this transfer adheres to the original terms of the agreements and will not alter or affect the company’s obligations as outlined in those agreements.

Meanwhile, the Colombo hotel is currently undergoing renovations, financed by a loan from Mashreq Bank PSC. Once the renovations are complete, the hotel, which features over 450 rooms with views of Galle Face Green and the Indian Ocean, will operate under the name “Radisson Blu Hotel Galadari Colombo.” (Colombo/Jun4/2026)
