As part of its strategic development, Rockland Group has appointed Tharindra Kulasinghe as a Non-Executive Director on its Board of Directors, effective immediately. This decision illustrates Rockland’s proactive strategy to enhance its long-standing family governance with independent expertise in key areas essential for the company’s upcoming growth phase, notably in technology, digital infrastructure, and data-driven decision-making.

Tharindra Kulasinghe brings over 16 years of extensive experience in technology, having worked across various sectors including global manufacturing, supply chain management, capital markets, and financial services. He earned a First Class Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering with Business Management from the University of Warwick. Currently, he holds the position of Chief Information Officer at Capital Alliance Limited (CAL), where he spearheads projects related to digital banking, cybersecurity, and analytics, and will continue to fulfill this role alongside his new responsibilities at Rockland.
