Russel’s recently hosted its annual Christmas Decorations Competition at its Head Office in Punchi Borella, uniting employees in a celebration of the true spirit of Christmas through creativity, unity, and festive cheer. The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including Rev. Sister W. G. Nilmini Iresha Wijerathna from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Convent; Mr. Wilhelm Van Dort, Director of Authenticities (Pvt) Ltd; Mrs. Priyanthi Senevirathne Van Dort, Choral Director of St. Bridget’s Convent and Wesley College; and Mr. Malik Senevirathne, Medical Liaison Officer based in Perth, Western Australia. Their presence added a touch of grace and significance to the occasion.

Employees from various divisions participated with enthusiasm, decorating their respective sections and showcasing originality, teamwork, and the joyful essence of the season. Following a thorough evaluation, the Office Staff division was awarded First Place, with the Pastry Section taking Second Place and the Main Kitchen earning Third Place for their creative displays. To acknowledge the efforts and enthusiasm of all participants, consolation prizes were presented to everyone involved in the competition, reinforcing Russel’s commitment to recognizing teamwork and participation.

The festive atmosphere was further enhanced by singing and dancing competitions, which were enjoyed by staff members and guests alike. The event concluded on a high note, reflecting Russel’s robust workplace culture and dedication to fostering unity, creativity, and celebration among its employees during the festive season.
