Sampath Bank Collaborates with GV Auto to Boost Electric Vehicle Uptake in Sri Lanka

Sampath Bank has recently established a strategic alliance with GV Auto, a division of Gavinro International (Pvt) Ltd., aimed at enhancing the accessibility of electric vehicles for consumers through exclusive financing options. This partnership was officially launched with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Head Office of Sampath Bank. As part of this collaboration, customers will benefit from a preferential interest rate that includes a 0.5% discount on the Bank’s standard vehicle loan rate when purchasing qualifying electric vehicles from GV Auto.

GV Auto positions itself as a leading provider of electric vehicle mobility solutions, offering a variety of dependable transport options, including the premium Skywell BE11 electric SUV and Keyton commercial electric vehicles. This partnership is intended to promote sustainable transportation, making it more accessible while providing enhanced value, affordability, and long-term savings for customers interested in environmentally friendly transportation alternatives.

By merging Sampath Bank’s customer-focused financing solutions with GV Auto’s expanding range of electric vehicles and robust after-sales support system, this collaboration aims to foster the broader adoption of electric mobility in Sri Lanka and facilitate the transition of customers to cleaner, more economical means of transportation.
